Book in a Month Wrap-Up

I didn’t write a book in a month. I didn’t finish, I have a manuscript full of holes, most of which are scavenger-hunt-shaped (why oh why did I decide to write in so many scavenger hunts?)

But that’s okay.

My goal for 2018 is to stop beating myself up for the little things, and this is one of them, especially because I did accomplish something.

Taking a vacation to Haederlys was an exercise in worldbuilding, a creative stress test, and practice for writing ensemble casts.

Seriously, I had to start keeping spreadsheets!

It also gave me a chance to let Faehunter breathe, I even got back to editing before the month was even up. I’ve started a few new side-projects but in the interest of not counting eggs before we make an omelette, there’s nothing too mentionable yet.

2018 is shaping up to be one of my best creative years ever and I am looking forward to sharing it with everyone in the coming months.

I may not be able to write an entire book in a month, but there’s no way that’s going to stop me!
